Fruits + Yogurt (A Quick & Easy Healthy Snack Idea)

I’ve been into “no-rice-for-dinner” diet policy for almost two weeks already since I really need to loose weight and trim down my body fat. To be honest, it is so hard for me to be consistent because i’m a “rice person” but thank God I was able to maintain my diet smoothly. But of course, I also don’t want to torture myself so I made Sundays my cheat day!

So here, I wanted to share my very own meal experiment specially made for fruit and yogurt lovers like me! This is super quick and easy, plus healthy!

Apple, orange, and bananas! You can also use any kinds of fruits you want.

Peel off the fruits and slice them into bite-size pieces.

Any kind of yogurt will do. I chose blueberry & strawberry flavor because it’s my favorite! (Pick a low fat or non-fat, by the way.)

I spread the yogurt all over as toppings. I did not mix the yogurt so that I could savor well its taste.

Just by looking at this photo, I know all of the yogurt lovers drooool! Haha! I swear its so yummy!

Here are some of the healthy benefits of Yogurt that I googled from MedicineNet:

  1. Yogurt can help fight gastrointestinal problems such as lactose intolerance, constipation, diarrhea, and colon cancer.
  2. Some of its probiotic strains may boosts immune system.
  3. It help prevent Osteoporosis.
  4. It reduces risk of Hypertension (High blood pressure).
  5. Yogurt can make you feel fuller. (This one works well for me. So diet maintained! Haha)

Read more of the benefits here.

I hope this idea will be helpful to most of you. Yummy na, healthy pa!
