Hair chalk is use to temporarily color your hair in an easy and inexpensive way. It can be wash away by shower instantly. Hair chalking is currently one of the trends in hair styling and fashion today.

I’ve been searching on Youtube tutorials on how to correctly apply hair chalks. I myself want to try how it works or if it will really work on my black/dark hair. So I purchase some on an online shop. It costs 70php per 3 pieces of chalks. I tried it on my hair and here’s how:

These are the hair chalks I bought online.

Choose color you want to use. (Since it is messy, you can also use gloves before anything else.)

Wet with water the portion of your hair where you want it to apply.

Apply it in a rubbing manner until the color sticks to your hair.

Get another color of your choice and do the same to the other portion of your hair depending on your own style. Then let it dry. Others usually iron their hair after applying the hair chalk but I didn’t tried it! hehe.

It can be messy as this if you don’t use gloves but don’t worry because it can be washed with water easily. :)

I used colors sky blue, green and orange.

And so here’s how it works on my black hair!
